Close Encounters: The Evolution Connection

From Star Trek to ET, our culture has been conditioned to believe that there must be extraterrestrial life “out there” somewhere.
This presentation examines the evidence and shows how these phenomena are linked with belief in evolution and paranormal activity. It turns out that there’s a spiritual component that needs to be exposed: “for we are not ignorant of his devices.” (2 Corinthians 2:11)
Speaker: Bruce Barton has degrees in meteorology and theology, with studies in engineering and graduate work in atmospheric sciences. Mr. Barton was an instrumentation engineer in R&D for Weyerhaeuser Company until retirement. He has a broad background as a teacher and speaker to groups of all ages in a wide range of subjects including science and technology, aviation, and Bible topics, particularly apologetics. Bruce has been speaking on the Creation/Evolution controversy for over ten years, especially to homeschool groups. He continues to give seminars and lead field trips for them. Bruce served on the Board of Directors for CAPS.
