An Introduction to Biblical Apologetics


Description: This talk is designed to help Christians be better prepared to defend their faith in a logical and reasonable manner. The truth about the diametrically opposite worldviews of Christianity and Secularism is made clear. This presentation is appropriate for youth as well as adults.


Several book resources complimentary to Mr. Mitchell’s talk will be available at the book tables. Mr. Mitchell will also have a number of living fossils on display as well as a table of fossils that will be available for sale.

  


Fossil and replica images

Here is a photo of the table of fossils and fossil replicas that J.D. will bring with him for sale. There will be fossilized dinosaur bones, mosasaur teeth, various marine fossils, fossil ammonites, fossil fish, and fossil trilobites. The replicas are trilobites, dinosaur brain endocasts, dinosaur eggs, dinosaur claws and dinosaur teeth.

 


JDMitchell-266x300Speaker: J.D. Mitchell is a retired professional engineer in Oregon and Washington and has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington. He has also completed his Master of Biblical Studies in Biblical Creation Apologetics from Master’s Graduate School of Divinity.

J.D. is the Founder of the Institute for Creation Science of Oregon, and speaks and writes regarding the creation versus evolution controversy as a part of his creation science ministry Creation Engineering Concepts.
