Sunday, August 26:

Mike Riddle, President of CTI & Education Specialist, will be with us during the Sunday School hour and at the worship service.

Sunday School Hour, 9:30 am: Mike Riddle will make a presentation on Thinking Biblically About Dinosaurs. This talk is designed for all ages (grade school – adult)
• Why speak about dinosaurs in the church?
• The common story about dinosaurs
• How many kinds of dinosaurs existed?
• How big were dinosaurs?
• How fast could dinosaurs run?
• Thinking biblically: analyzing the standard story
• Are dinosaurs mentioned in the Bible?
• When did dinosaurs live?
• Amazing evidence that confirms the Bible
• What happened to the dinosaurs?
• Were dinosaurs on Noah’s Ark?
• The Bible: the true history book of the Universe

Worship Service, 10:45 am: Mike Riddle will bring a message on Genesis and Biblical Discernment. This sermon starts by discussing biblical discernment (1 Thess 5:21-22). Then three examples are used as lessons on biblical discernment.
1. How long were the days of creation?
2. Did God use evolution?
3. What are schools teaching and not teaching?
The sermon concludes by focusing on Christian youth and why so many are leaving the church.

Speaker: Mike Riddle – President of CTI & Education Specialist
Mike is an international speaker and educator on Christian education and apologetics. Mike is also an adjunct speaker for Answers in Genesis. He holds a degree in mathematics and a graduate degree in education and has been involved in creation ministry for more than thirty-five years. Prior to getting involved in creation ministry, Mike was a Captain in the U.S. Marines and a national champion in track and field. Mike’s experience in the education field includes:

  • Teaching junior high and senior high school mathematics.
  • An instructor at the Northwest Graduate School of the Ministry and the Institute for Creation Research Graduate School.
  • Managing U.S. Sprint’s world-wide technical training.
  • Managing Microsoft’s world-wide engineer training.
  • Development and delivery of courses on presentation skills and teaching methods.
  • Mike currently lectures and teaches world-wide on creation apologetics, Christian education, science and the Bible, and developing a biblical worldview.

He resides in Boise, ID with his wife Lesley.

Mike Riddle, Founder and President of Creation Training Initiative (CTI), will be back in the Greater Seattle area to lead a Christian Educators Conference on Tuesday, August 28. He will also be available to speak at other venues within the area during the weekend before, August 22-26.
