Mini-Conference  – Evolution Debunked!

In this Mini Conference Carl Kerby brings two seminars on the theme of Evolution Debunked! on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until 12 noon with a break after the first seminar.

1. 9:00 AM: March of Progress – Debunked!  – DeBunking One of the Most Misleading Images in History. In this talk, Carl Kerby begins with the very first chart depicting human evolution as found in the “Early Man” volume of the Life Nature Library. He then navigates through each illustration displayed on the diagram―critically evaluating every one of its supposed human ancestors. This chart, used confidently by evolutionists for decades to support their stance on origins, has been one of the most misleading and deceiving images in history. But what “evidence” do they actually have to support these illustrations showing human ancestry? Carl will answer this question thoroughly and clearly, while using only secular sources to support his claims. Christians have nothing to be afraid of―that’s for sure!
2. 10:30 AM: The Path to Birds – Debunked!   – Taking the popular image entitled “Path to Birds,” which allegedly depicts the evolution of dinosaurs to birds, Carl Kerby will critically evaluate each supposed avian ancestor and look at the evidence with a logical and evidential mindset. Does Jurassic Park get it right? Does the evidence actually support the image? We invite you to see for yourself so that you can make an informed decision and learn what the artwork truly reveals.
3. There will be an extended time for Q&A after the second seminar.

Speaker: Carl Kerby is an inspiring, motivating and highly respected Christian speaker. With more than 20 years of ministry experience, Carl shares his extensive knowledge and understanding of God’s creation in his presentations, outreach events, books and other resources as the President and founding board member of Reasons for Hope, Inc.

Carl Kerby is a former air-traffic controller and a creation apologist speaker who teaches how to defend the Bible against scientific naturalism. He was one of the founding board members for Answers in Genesis, and has been described by AiG as one of their most dynamic lecturers on the Book of Genesis.  After serving with Answers in Genesis for over 15 years, Carl became the Founder and President of Reasons for Hope. He is a much sought-after speaker both in the United States and abroad, and has spoken in Bermuda, Canada, England, Greece, Israel, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, the Philippines, Wales and others.

He grew up in a liberal church that taught evolution could be mixed with God’s Word. In 1987 Carl Kerby became a Christian after attending a crusade in Salt Lake City, Utah. While an air-traffic controller and riding in the cockpit on a flight, the Creation vs. Evolution issue came up during a conversation with the pilots. The co-pilot argued that the Bible and Evolution were a totally different worldviews that could not be in harmonized. He then introduced Carl to Ken Ham’s book The Lie: Evolution, which helped him trust in the Bible as authoritative on the issue of creation.

Carl and his wife Masami have been married for more than 30 years. They have two children, Alisa (Bobby) and Carl Jr. (Tish) and four grandchildren, Trey, Naomi, Mari and James.
