Christianity for Skeptics: Refuting the New Atheists
This program is designed for the youth and others with an interest in being able to defend their faith. The program is structured as follows:
- 6:00 pm – Games + Pizza
- 7:00 pm – Message by Dr. Jonathan Sarfati
- 7:45 pm – Panel Discussion with Dr. Sarfati and Dr. Heinz Lycklama
- 8:30 pm – Dessert
Youth from all area churches are invited to this event.
Description: Dr. Jonathan Sarfati will lead a discussion on Christianity for Skeptics. He co-authored a book by this title with Dr. Steve Kumar in 2012.

atheism logically leads to a denial of reason and objective right and wrong. Learn
to avoid some common fallacies.
Speaker: Dr Jonathan Sarfati, senior scientist at CMI, is a dual citizen of Australia and New Zealand. He earned a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from a secular NZ university. Jonathan was a co-founder of an Apologetics Society in New Zealand, then joined Creation Ministries International (CMI) in Australia in 1996. In 2010, he and his American wife transferred from the Australian office to the USA office near Atlanta.
Dr Sarfati has authored some of the most popular and powerful books on the issues of origins, strongly defending biblical (‘young earth’) creation and refuting the strongest arguments for evolution and millions of years. His first book, Refuting Evolution, has sold half a million copies, making it the best-selling creationist book of all time (apart from the Bible!). His latest and most important book is The Genesis Account, a thorough 800-page theological, historical, and scientific commentary on Genesis 1–11.
